We would like grow lavender, small scale bee keeping, a small fruit orchard, peacocks and swans, grapes for wine, boysenberries and raise a small herd of angora goats to harvest their fur on a twice yearly basis and milk for cheese. We need about five acres. Totally organic. We would like to be within 10 miles of a city with a grocery store. We are retiring but very physically active. We do not want to be within 100 miles of any industrial or powerplants plants or superfund sites. I was looking at the Lynchburg area but now not so sure.
